Yesterday was the second day in a row that hospital trusts in the region recorded no new deaths, but three separate trusts have since recorded a single death each.
These were Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
This comes as ten people who had tested positive for coronavirus in England have died, bringing the total number of coronavirus-associated deaths in the country to 29,386.
Patients were aged between 54 and 94 years old and all had known underlying health conditions.
The death toll for Yorkshire now stands at 2,576.
A local lockdown remains in place for parts of West Yorkshire, including Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees – following a spike in cases last week.
An announcement on these restrictions is expected later today (Friday) and we will be keeping you updated on these in our dedicated live blog.
