The locations of the 21 newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Yorkshire

There have been a further 21 cases of coronavirus confirmed across Yorkshire in the last 24 hours.

The biggest increase in cases was seen in Bradford and Rotherham, with both places confirming six more cases in the last day.

This was followed by Sheffield, where four more cases were confirmed in this time.

Barnsley, Doncaster, Kirklees, Leeds and North Yorkshire all recorded one new case each in the last day.

It comes as hospital trusts across Yorkshire recorded five more deaths in the last 24 hours, with two of these deaths being recorded by Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Hospital trusts across England recorded a further 18 deaths in the last day, which brings the total number of deaths in English hospitals to 28,653.
