Locations of 132 new covid cases confirmed in Yorkshire in last day

Below are the locations of the 132 positive cases of coronavirus that have been recorded over the last day.

The biggest increase was seen in Bradford, which has the highest infection rate across the whole of Yorkshire and is second only to Leicester in the whole of England.

Kirklees also recorded a high number of cases, with 29 and this was followed by Wakefield with 22.

East Yorkshire was the only area to record no further cases in the last day, while York and Hull recorded just one each.

It comes as a further three deaths have been confirmed in Yorkshire over the last 24 hours, bringing the total coronavirus death toll to 2,530 in Yorkshire.

There have now been 29,441 positive cases of the virus confirmed across the county to date.

Data of all positive cases being released now includes historic pillar two data, which comes from fixed testing sites, mobile and home testing data.

Before this, figures of positive cases only included pillar one figures which came from hospital and health care testing.

  • Bradford – was 4,455 now 4,488 (+33)
  • Calderdale – was 714 now 721 (+7)
  • Rotherham – was 1,933 now 1,941 (+8)
  • Kirklees – was 2,169 now 2,198 (+29)
  • York – was 911 now 912 (+1)
  • Doncaster – was 2,004 now 2,006 (+2)
  • East Yorkshire – still 1,645
  • Hull – was 1,545 now 1,546 (+1)
