York Street has now reopened after the earlier incident at the Leeds Markets car park

The road reopened at 6.30pm and Leeds Council’s travel information service reported that the incident has been cleared.

Harehills Lane incident: Man taken to hospital after being stabbed

West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that a man has been stabbed in Harehills.

Police were called at 5.26pm to reports of a male having been stabbed on Harehills Lane at its junction with Strathome Drive.

The male was taken to hospital and enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A third ongoing police incident has closed Victoria Bridge on Neville Street

Police and ambulance were called to Victoria Bridge near the River Aire at 5.44pm over concern for a person’s safety.

Officers remain at the scene and the incident is ongoing.

The road is closed while emergency services attend the scene. 

Another ongoing police incident has closed a junction in Harehills

Roads are closed at the junction of Harehills Lane, Ashley Road and Strathmore Drive.

Police are at the scene.

First Bus service 91 is being diverted.

They are talking to a woman after concerns were raised for her safety.

York Street has now been closed in both directions.

Delays on Kirkstall Road after multi-vehicle crash

There are delays on Kirkstall Road following a crash at the junction with Viaduct Road. 

At least two vehicles were involved and have now been recovered.

One lane remains closed and there are delays on the westbound carriageway.
